Player Development Program (PDP) U5-10

The Fire FC Player Development Program (PDP) is an optional program (open to anyone) that offers an additional training opportunity for players that have  developed a passion for the game at a young age and want to start developing under  Fire FC staff direction. 

We believe this is a crucial program for players looking for more, as skills will still be the primary focus by players can now begin to surround themselves with  players of the same passion (not necessarily the same ability at these ages). 

This program is strongly encouraged for children that are interested in playing for our competitive teams starting at age 11.

U5/U6 PDP Training - Register here

This is an optional program, offered one day a week, on Mondays. This will be six weeks of additional training. The intent of the 5/6 PDP is to put players in a fun, age appropriate training environment that challenges them physically and mentally. The program is open to any player who are U5 or U6 and who have the desire to further develop their soccer skills under the guidance of a professional coach, who is following the club developmental curriculum.
 

Cost: $60

When: Mondays from 5:15 to 6:15 pm

Dates: March 27, April 3, 10, 17, 24, May 1

U7/U8 PDP Training - Register here
This will be an optional program offered one day a week, on Mondays. This will be seven weeks of additional training. The intent of the 7/8 PDP is to put players in a competitive, age appropriate training environment that challenges them physically and mentally. The program is open to any player who are U7 or U8 and who have the desire to further develop their soccer skills under the guidance of a professional coach, who is following the club developmental curriculum.

Cost: $90
When: Mondays 6:15 - 7:15pm

March 13, 27. April 3, 10, 17, 24  May 1, May 8 (make up)

9/10 PDP (Player Development Program)  Training Only- Register here

Fire FC’s U9-U10 PDP is part of the third phase of our long-term development model for our youth soccer players. It is an optional program (OPEN TO ANYONE) that creates an opportunity for players that have developed a passion for the game at the younger ages (U5-U8) and develop under Fire FC staff direction. We believe this is a crucial program for players looking for more, as skills will still be the primary focus but players can now begin to surround themselves with players of the same passion (not necessarily same ability at these ages) and who have a willingness to be coached by Fire FC licensed staff.

 

9/10 boys and girls. The focus will be individual skills, athletic movement, and basic tactical concepts. Players who do this program should love the game and want to get better.

 

When – Monday 5:15 -6:15pm and Wednesday 5:15-6:15pm

Dates - (March 1 and March 2 indoors from 4:45-5:45),  March 6, 8, 13, 15, 27, 29

April 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26 , May 1, 3

Cost - $195

THIS IS A TRAINING ONLY OPTION. Players that do 9/10 training only will also register for a recreation team.

9/10 Boys and Girls PDP Academy - Register by Feb.  3 

9/10 PDP Academy consists of two training sessions a week with our staff in the PDP 9/10 Program (follow the same dates and times). They will also have one training session a week with a volunteer staff coach selected by Fire FC. That coach will manage the team and attend training and games. They play 7 games in league in Grand Junction. PDP Academy Teams will also play 1-2 tournaments per season that will be selected by Fire FC.

Players that would be a good fit for this program have to have a passion for the game and players who tend to excel in our recreation league.

When – Monday 5:15 -6:15pm and Wednesday 5:15-6:15pm

Dates - March 1 and March 2 indoors from 4:45-5:45, March 6, 8, 13, 15, 27, 29

April 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26, May 1, 3

*Players who participate in this program choose to exclusively play on this team and not participate in our recreation division.
