Mommy, Daddy and Me

 

Overview: This fun and active class is designed to help toddlers develop their gross motor skills and be introduced to soccer. With the help of experienced coaches and interaction with their respective parent(s), children will participate in an unstructured learning environment with some integration of various games that promote balance, coordination, and some ball skills.

Class Schedule

This class is held on Sunday mornings, for 45 minutes. Parent participation is required for children to attend and participate.

What to Wear

Children should wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. Shin guards are not needed.

What to Bring

A water cup/bottle is recommended.

Level Up 

The Fire FC Level Up Program is an optional program (open to anyone) that offers an additional training opportunity for players that have  developed a passion for the game at a young age and want to start developing under  Fire FC staff direction. 

We believe this is a crucial program for players looking for more, as skills will still be the primary focus by players can now begin to surround themselves with  players of the same passion (not necessarily the same ability at these ages). 

This program is strongly encouraged for children that are interested in playing for our competitive teams starting at age 11.

U5/U6 Level Up Training 

This will be an optional program offered one day a week, on Mondays. This will be six weeks of additional training. The intent of the 5/6 Level Up is to put players in a fun, age appropriate training environment that challenges them physically and mentally. The program is open to any player who are U5 or U6 and who have the desire to further develop their soccer skills under the guidance of a professional coach, who is following the club developmental curriculum.

When: Mondays from 5:15 to 6:15 pm

Welcome to the Spring 2024 7/8 Level Up Training with Fire FC!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.

This program is for players that choose to be there, are willing to work hard to improve, and love soccer. Due to keeping a 16 player to 1 coach ratio, not all players that sign up may be accepted. This will be a selective process.

U7/U8 Level Up Training - Spring 2024

The intent of the 7/8 Level Up is to put players in a competitive, age appropriate training environment that challenges them physically and mentally. The program is open to any player who are U7 or U8 and who have the desire to further develop their soccer skills under the guidance of a professional coach, who is following the club developmental curriculum.

Cost: $90
When: Mondays from 6:15to 7:15pm

Dates: 3/25, 4/1, 4/8, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6

Welcome to the Spring 2024 9/10 Level Up - Training Only with Fire FC!

Fire FC’s U9-U10 Level UP is part of the third phase of our long-term development model for our youth soccer players. It is an optional program (OPEN TO ANYONE) that creates an opportunity for players that have developed a passion for the game at the younger ages (U5-U8) and develop under Fire FC staff direction. We believe this is a crucial program for players looking for more, as skills will still be the primary focus but players can now begin to surround themselves with players of the same passion (not necessarily same ability at these ages) and who have a willingness to be coached by Fire FC licensed staff.

9/10 boys and girls. The focus will be individual skills, athletic movement, and basic tactical concepts. Players who do this program should love the game and want to get better.

**We will have a TENTATIVE start date of 2/26.  This may change depending on weather and subsequent access to the fields**

When – Monday 4:45-5:45pm and Wednesday 4:45-5:45pm

Dates - Feb - 26, 28, Mar - 4, 6, 11, 13, 25, 27, Apr - 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, May - 1, 6, 8, make ups May 13 and 15.

THIS IS A TRAINING ONLY OPTION. Players that do 9/10 training only will also register for a recreation team.

Welcome to the Spring 2024 9/10 Level Up Academy with Fire FC!

9/10 Level Up Academy consists of two training sessions a week with our staff coaches. They will also have one training session a week with a volunteer staff coach selected by Fire FC. That volunteer coach will manage the team and attend training and games. The team will play in a local league we create called the Premier League. We take all the Level Up Academy boys and girls teams and put them in this league. We also look to add the top 1-3 teams from boys and girls divisions in our recreation league. This creates a more competitive league that allows us to play locally. Teams play approximately 8 games in league. Level Up Academy Teams will also play 1-2 tournaments per season that will be selected by Fire FC. Spring will be here in Grand Junction for the GMIT.

The training environment in Level Up will focus on individual technical skills and decision making to progress these young players in long term development. At trainings, Level Up Academy teams will go with a Fire FC staff as a team for that day and will focus on position specific decision making and skills. Level Up is designed to focus on individuals technical skills on the ball while progress player’s tactical decision making and positioning.

Players that would be a good fit for this program have to have a passion for the game and players who tend to excel in our recreation league.
